Erin Finley snapped this picture of guests enjoying the wall-sized projections of over 1,000 images by the artist. In the adjacent room folks danced to a live "old-time" band at the opening of "Sanctuaries III"

"Sanctuaries III" Arts Depot, Abingdon Va 2009 This is an “immersion” style walk-through installation exhibition that combines distinct aromas, projections, sound and movement along with textures and colors. The heart of the concept is a contemporary interpretation of the endangered Appalachian Barn, and the host of emotions and metaphors that swirl around it.
