Portrait Sculpture

I am currently working both in clay and bronze for finished portraiture.
While working from life is the preferred method, I can work from photographs or digital movies.
Ethelia Patmagrian was the traditional sculptor teacher at The Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida when I studied there in 1986.
She studied from the European Masters who were seeking refuge from World War II in the states.

Since then I have continued to work with portrait sculpture in addition to contemporary sculpture.
I teach one-day and six-week classes several times a year and occasionally do public demonstrations in portrait sculpture.
